Pellets
Small, solid dose forms known as pharmaceutical pellets are commonly employed for oral medication delivery. They are spherical or atypically shaped particles made up of different excipients and one or more active pharmaceutical ingredients (APIs). Pellets provide a number of benefits, including increased patient compliance, less gastrointestinal discomfort, greater drug bioavailability, and controlled drug release. Depending on the intended therapeutic outcome, they can be designed to release pharmacological ingredients either instantly or gradually. Pellets can be compacted into tablets or filled into capsules, making it simpler to deliver to patients. Pellets also make it possible to combine various medications or dosages into a single dosage form, enabling the creation of specialized treatments for particular patient needs. Pharmaceutical pellets are produced using a variety of methods, including granulation, layering, and extrusion-spheronization. Each approach has unique benefits, and the choice is made depending on the properties of the API and the desired release profile.
We provide a variety of strengths of Delayed Release Pellets, Extended Release Pellets, Modified Release Pellets, and Sustained Release Pellets in accordance with GMP requirements.
